Shirley Gordon’s afrofuturist look won gold in the Creative Vision category of Wella National TrendVision Awards high fashion hair styling competition. This is the first time the United States Wella team has won the national competition in this category. Shirley will now move on to compete in the Wella International TrendVision Awards competition taking place in London, UK on October 14, 2017, and also work backstage at New York Fashion Week.
The Creative Vision category offers the freedom to express a creative vision by either a cut and finish and/or dressing hair with an editorial feel.
